Meet the Team.

Joshua Krenus

Joshua is no stranger to business, or its community in Vancouver. During the latter part of his high school years, Krenus began working for his Fathers construction business – Common Ground. Joshua would spend four years learning site planning and management, budgeting, bidding and logistical planning – “with most new business mandating upwards of forty staff, and accepted bids reaching the low millions, you quickly learn how to become efficient and manage your time”.

After realizing that construction wasn’t his passion, Joshua ventured out to start his own business, Krenus Detailers, which was a full service auto detailing company. Six months after its inception, the business had two downtown locations and three full-time staff. “The detailing company is what really opened the doors for me. It was a tremendous local business that gave me the opportunity to meet people I would have never met otherwise”, Krenus adds.

Joshua has since sold Krenus Detailers and began his most recent venture, Alteri Insurance, in July of 2016. Since that time Joshua has been awarded the 2017 BC Business 30 Under 30 Award and continues to enjoy the everyday challenges associated with growing an insurance business.

Joel Abramson

Joel’s passion and plethora of experience is what landed him the CEO position for Vancouver’s Fully Managed. As a young man, and growing up during the start of the internet, he began constructing his own websites and fan-pages to interact with people online. It was in those early years, building sites and playing on his commodore 64, that Joel found his passion – he needed to be a part of connecting people and businesses to the internet.

After graduating from the prestigious McGill University in 2004, he was on his way to becoming an underwriter in New York for Merrill Lynch, but decided to stick to his original vision and try his hand at building a company in the technology sector. It was PacketSafe Networks, a managed services company, which allowed Joel to bring his dreams to fruition. Abramson was the managing director until 2013, at which point the company was bought by Fully Managed, where Joel became VP of Business Development before becoming the company’s CEO.

Joel has been a part of several different technological start-ups, including a niche-market t-shirt website, a sports memorabilia customization site and a vacation management firm. Abramson was named Business In Vancouver’s Top 40 Under 40 for 2016 and has grown Fully Managed to over 100 staff. It goes without saying, we are ecstatic that Joel will be contributing his time to Alteri’s advisory board.
