Yani Palad

Born and raised in the Philippines, Yani earned her Economics degree in Manila after high school. In August of 2003, she headed to Vancouver to start a new chapter of her life. Following her arrival in Canada, Yani received a diploma in Business Administration from Sprott Shaw College - it was time to start looking for new opportunities in the work force.

Despite having little experience in the insurance field at the time, Yani was hired by Canadian Direct Insurance (CDI) in their operations centre. She would spend the next fifteen years of her professional career with the company, where she would work her way up the corporate ladder into a senior underwriting position. Yani gained exposure to several aspects of the industry and was eventually a part of CDI’s sale to Intact in 2015.

We are very excited to have Yani join the Alteri team as Head of Broker Support. She is responsible for the various administrative and operations tasks that allow our agents to continue to focus on the needs of their clients.
